Nashrah Shireen is a multilingual publishing and research house — a magazine, an academic press, a journals division, an events calendar and a growing family of news portals, working together in Urdu, Arabic, Persian, Hindi and English.
We exist to give writers, researchers and journalists a home that takes their language as seriously as their argument. Whether it is a ghazal, a peer-reviewed paper, or a breaking news bulletin, every piece we publish passes through the same standard of editorial care.
Our name — Nashrah-e-Shireen, "the sweet publication" — is a promise: that scholarship and storytelling need not be dry to be serious, and need not be simple to be read widely.
We want a reader in Lucknow, Lahore, Cairo, Tehran or London to find a journal, a novel or a news bulletin that speaks to them in their own script — held to the same standard everywhere.
Every submission is reviewed on merit, with transparent editorial standards across all divisions.
English, Urdu, Hindi, Arabic and Persian are treated as equal partners, not afterthought translations.
Our IPR desk exists so that every writer's work is properly registered and protected.
Conferences, seminars and workshops keep our scholarly community connected, not just published.
Manuscripts, papers and news leads are logged and screened for scope and originality.
Journals go through double-blind peer review; magazine and book submissions pass through language editors.
Each piece is set for its script — right-to-left for Urdu and Arabic, left-to-right for English and Hindi.
Final work is published on its dedicated portal and, where relevant, registered through our IPR desk.
New issues and books are shared through our news network and discussed at our conferences and seminars.
Our editorial desks welcome submissions and enquiries from authors, researchers, journalists and institutions.
